The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) conducted an inspection in Hainan, China's most southerly province, from June 5 to 8, focusing on the protection of ecosystem diversity, stability and sustainability of the country's national parks.

A team led by Edmund Ho Hau Wah and Leung Chun-ying visited Guangdong province from Aug 23 to 27 to inspect the implementation of the outline development plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Bater xamined efforts to consolidate and expand poverty alleviation achievements during a visit to Southwest China's Sichuan province from June 7 to 10.
