An award ceremony recognizing outstanding performance by members of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in 2025 was held in Beijing on March 2.

Wang Huning, amember of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, along with othersenior officials of the CPPCC National Committee, presented awards to thewinning members.

Shi Taifeng, amember of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice-chairperson of the CPPCC National Committee, read out the decision of the CPPCC National Committee on awarding 33 members of the CPPCC National Committee for their outstanding performance in 2025.

Wang Dongfeng, vice-chairperson and secretary-general of the14th CPPCC National Committee, presided over the award ceremony. CPPCC National Committee vice-chairpersons Hu Chunhua, Shen Yueyue, Wang Yong, Zhou Qiang, Ho Hau Wah, Leung Chun-ying, Bater, Su Hui, Shao Hong, Gao Yunlong, Mu Hong, Xian Hui, Jiang Xinzhi, Jiang Zuojun, He Baoxiang, Wang Guangqian, Zhu Yongxin, and Yang Zhen attended the event.
