China's drive for scientific and technological self-reliance has gained momentum as deputies to the National People's Congress (NPC) and members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) have focused special attention on the field.
The State Council Information Office (SCIO) held a policy briefing on Friday to introduce how State Council departments were handling suggestions from deputies to the National People's Congress (NPC) and proposals from members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in 2025.
Jin Hua, a member of the CPPCC National Committee based in the Haixi Mongol and Tibetan autonomous prefecture, Qinghai province, conducted field research at a rural mutual-aid elderly care center in Dulan county, to further identify ways to improve elderly care services in high-altitude regions.
