Zhou Qiang, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met with a delegation of the German Korber Foundation in Beijing on Oct 30.

Zhou briefed the delegation on the guiding principles of the fifth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, the system of the CPPCC, and the strategy of comprehensively advancing law-based governance.

He also exchanged views with the German guests on China and Europe's commitment to maintaining a comprehensive strategic partnership, resolving differences through dialogue and consultation, and jointly addressing global challenges.
