Su Hui, vice-chairwoman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and chairwoman of the TDSL Central Committee, attended and addressed the meeting.
The meeting studied the valuable experience of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in exercising full and rigorous self-governance in the new era, reviewed the TDSL's education campaign on upholding the public interest in political participation and delivering tangible results for the people, and discussed and made arrangements for key tasks in fulfilling duties with a correct understanding of governance performance.
Su noted that 2026 marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army's Long March (1934-36), and the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30).
With the fifth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee approaching, Su said the fundamental task in consolidating and building on the achievements of the education campaign is to continue learning from the CPC and to strengthen political consensus.
