The 7th China Liaoning International Fair for Investment and Trade opened in Shenyang on Sept 23. Zhou Qiang, vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, attended and addressed the opening ceremony.

Zhou stated that Liaoning adheres to the basic national policy of opening-up and upholds the principle of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, injecting new impetus into the revitalization of Northeast China through opening-up initiatives.

To deliver on these goals, Liaoning is working to build the Northeast China Land-Sea Corridor, fully integrate into high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, actively engage in the development of the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor, and constantly strengthen its role as a hub for opening-up and cooperation, Zhou said.

The fair was themed "New Impetus for Opening-up, A New Chapter for Revitalization". Zhou toured the exhibition pavilions‌ before the opening ceremony.
