The 2026 China Top 500 Private Enterprises Conference was jointly hosted by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and the Tianjin Municipal Government in Tianjin on Sept 22.

Gao Yunlong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the ACFIC, attended the event and delivered a speech.

Gao noted that the overall scale of the top 500 private enterprises continues to grow, the industrial structure is constantly optimized, their innovation capabilities are continuously enhanced, and their contributions to society are increasing.

He expressed the hope that private enterprises would strengthen their confidence and make persistent efforts, with a commitment to supporting the national development. They should run their businesses lawfully and with integrity to promote common prosperity, he said.

Specifically, they should be resolute in becoming driving forces behind Chinese modernization, pioneers in accelerating the cultivation of new quality productive forces, practitioners of the modern enterprise system with Chinese characteristics, and contributors to the solid advancement of common prosperity, thereby making more contributions to building a strong nation and achieving national rejuvenation, Gao added.

The 2026 list of China's top 500 private enterprises and a research and analysis report on the ranking were released at the conference.

Zhang Gong, mayor of Tianjin, attended and addressed the conference. Representatives from private enterprises and chambers of commerce in Tianjin, as well as representatives from provincial-level federations of industry and commerce across the country, were present at the conference.
