Shi Taifeng, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, met with Chan Chun Sing, Singapore's coordinating minister for public services and defense minister, on Sept 15 in Beijing.

Shi emphasized that China stands ready to work with Singapore to earnestly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen strategic communication, and deepen pragmatic cooperation so as to advance the all-round high-quality future-oriented partnership between the two countries.

Chan stated that Singapore will work with China to enhance exchanges and mutual learning, and deepen cooperation in areas such as talent training, so as to better benefit the two peoples.
