Wang Dongfeng, vice-chairman and secretary-general of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee and chairman of the China Economic and Social Council, met with Seamus Boland, president of the European Economic and Social Committee, on Sept 13.

Wang introduced China's practices of alleviating poverty as well as consolidating and expanding its achievements. They exchanged views on leveraging the role of the China-EU Round Table and promoting exchanges and cooperation between China and Europe.
