Bater, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and head of the China-Cuba Friendship Association, held a video meeting on June 24 in Beijing with Fernando González Llort, president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), and Caridad Diego Bello, president of the Cuba-China Parliamentary Friendship Group.

The two sides exchanged views on implementing the important consensus reached by the two countries' heads of state and advancing the development of the special friendly relations between China and Cuba in the new era.
