The 2026 National Private Enterprise Green Development Conference was held on June 17 in Haikou, Hainan province. Gao Yunlong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended and addressed the conference.

Gao emphasized that accelerating the coordinated transition toward digitalization and green development is essential for securing a leading position in the new round of technological and industrial revolutions and for building China's new competitive strengths. He called on private enterprises to speed up digital transformation and green transition, reinforce their foundation for high-quality growth, make full use of policy support and enhance both quality and scale of private enterprises. He also urged them to actively take responsibility in advancing digitalization and green initiatives, making their enterprises more sophisticated, smart and sustainable and contributing more to fostering green production and lifestyles.

Representatives from the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, as well as officials from provincial federations of industry and commerce and delegates from State-owned enterprises and private companies participated in the event.
