The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held a popular science lecture at the CPPCC National Committee Auditorium on June 1.

An interactive Q&A session followed.

The lecture was presided over by Xu Yanhao, vice-chairman of the Committee on Education, Science, Health and Sports of the CPPCC National Committee. More than 600 people participated, including CPPCC National Committee members, university faculty members and students, and professionals in science and technology fields.
