He Ping, a member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the CPPCC National Committee, met in Beijing on June 1 with a delegation from the Asia Pacific Think Tank, a regional independent policy research institution headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand.

Wang Bingnan and Zhang Bojun, vice-chairmen of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and Wei Haisheng, a member of the committee, attended the meeting.
