Wang Dongfeng, vice-chairman and secretary-general of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), attended the "Visit the CPPCC" event for diplomats from Latin American and Caribbean countries in Beijing on May 27, and delivered a speech.

He expressed hope that participants would conduct in-depth exchanges on strengthening cooperation and exchanges to advance the building of a China-Latin America community with a shared future, so as to contribute to the long-term development of China-Latin America relations. Diplomats and representatives from 24 Latin American and Caribbean countries accredited to China took part in the event.
