The 12th Central Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA) held its fourth plenary session in Beijing on Jan 5.

The meeting focused on thoroughly studying and implementing the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the plenary sessions of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and reviewed the work reports of the Standing Committee and the Internal Supervision Committee of the 12th CNDCA Central Committee.

Hao Mingjin, chairman of the CNDCA Central Committee, delivered the work report on behalf of the standing committee.

Hao stated that over the past year, the CNDCA has furthered self-development, fulfilled its role as a political party participating in deliberation of State governance, enhanced the capacity for social service work, and promoted the high-quality development of all undertakings with a rigorous and pragmatic work style.

Hao stressed that while celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the CNDCA, the association has advanced the implementation of various tasks and its standardized development, achieving new accomplishments on both fronts.

He also underscored that the CNDCA must take serving the Chinese modernization drive as the central task in 2026, the starting year of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30), build consensus, actively put forward proposals and suggestions for decision-making, and comprehensively strengthen self-improvement.
