The fourth plenary session of the 14th Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) was held in Beijing on Dec 17. The meeting reviewed the work reports of the Standing Committee and the Internal Supervision Committee of the 14th RCCK Central Committee.

Zheng Jianbang, chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, delivered a work report on behalf of the standing committee, while He Baoxiang, executive vice-chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, presided over the opening meeting.

Zheng stated that the RCCK adhered to the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and plenary sessions of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and prioritized enhancing its performance of duties in 2025.

The RCCK yielded fruitful results on all fronts of its work over the year, including consolidating common ideological and political foundations for multiparty cooperation, advancing organizational development, completing the final-stage tasks of democratic supervision of ecological and environmental protection in the Yangtze River basin, and fully engaging in China's reunification efforts, Zheng noted.

Highlighting that next year marks the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30), Zheng called for high-quality participation in and deliberation of State affairs in line with tasks outlined in the plan, aligning the RCCK members' expertise with public needs, and refining the overarching strategy of the RCCK to guide efforts toward national reunification in the new era.
