Bater, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met in Beijing on Nov 11 with a multi-party delegation from Slovakia that is headed by Marian Kery, a member of the presidium of the Direction-Social Democracy and chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Slovakia.

Bater gave the delegation a rundown on the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

He also engaged in exchanges with Kery on topics such as following up on the consensus reached between the two countries' leaders, strengthening bilateral cooperation in various areas, and promoting the China-Slovakia relationship.
