Wang Yong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met in Beijing on Nov 11 with a delegation of senior cadres from the Mozambique Liberation Front (Frelimo) headed by Chakil Aboobacar, secretary-general of Frelimo.

Wang gave the delegation a rundown on the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). He also affirmed the relations between the CPC and Frelimo, and between China and Mozambique.

He engaged in exchanges with Aboobacar on topics such as following up on the consensus reached between the two countries' leaders and strengthening bilateral cooperation in various areas.
