The Standing Committee of the 16th Central Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party held its 12th meeting in Beijing on Nov 2.

The meeting focused on studying and implementing the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Jiang Zuojun, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the China Zhi Gong Party Central Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Jiang noted that the party should focus on the layout of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) and play an active part in China's modernization drive.

Jiang called on party organizations at all levels to play their roles in strengthening relevant theoretical research. He also urged them to offer targeted suggestions for the strategic tasks set forth in the 15th Five-Year Plan, and better fulfill their duties to promote its implementation.

Jiang emphasized the need to disseminate the guiding principles in international exchanges, and to encourage overseas Chinese to contribute their wisdom and strength to national unification.

Jiang stressed the importance of targeted assistance and rural vitalization, and called for sustainable efforts in building community health organizations and enhancing the party's capacity for providing social services.

He also highlighted that the party should strengthen its self-development by training talents and enhancing internal supervision. In this way, the party can make itself a high-quality political party participating in State governance under socialism with Chinese characteristics.
