The Standing Committee of the 14th Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) held its 12th meeting in Beijing on Oct 31.

The meeting focused on studying and implementing the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and setting the RCCK's tasks in the next stage to get it off to a good start in the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) period.

Zheng Jianbang, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He Baoxiang, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and executive vice-chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, presided over the meeting.

Zheng stressed that the RCCK should take the implementation of the guiding principles as a major political task both now and in the future, translating the guiding principles into practice in its daily work.

Zheng urged RCCK members to contribute their wisdom and strength to finishing the tasks set at the 20th CPC Central Committee's fourth plenary session. The RCCK should keep working hard to complete this year's tasks, and make plans for its work in 2026, the starting year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, fulfilling its duties for China's modernization drive, Zheng added.
