CPPCC leading Party members group studies guiding principles of CPC plenum

The leading Party members group of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee holds a meeting in Beijing on Oct 24 to study the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Wang Huning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, and secretary of the leading Party members group, presided over and delivered a speech at the meeting. Members of the leading Party members group of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee met on Oct 24 to study the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Wang Huning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, and secretary of the leading Party members group, presided over and delivered a speech at the meeting.

The meeting noted that the Recommendations of the CPC Central Committee for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development included a profound analysis of the complicated situations facing China's development and mapped out the course for the next five years.

The meeting stressed that the guiding principles of the CPC plenum should be implemented in the CPPCC's practical work. The CPPCC should unite and guide the political parties, people's organizations, and individuals from all ethnic groups and sectors participating in the CPPCC to contribute their wisdom and strength to formulating and implementing the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30).
