The 2025 list of China' top 500 private enterprises was released on Aug 28 in Shenyang, the capital of Northeast China's Liaoning province, at a conference jointly hosted by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and the People's Government of Liaoning Province.
Gao Yunlong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the ACFIC, attended the event and delivered a speech.
Gao urged private enterprises to strengthen confidence and align their thoughts and actions with the Communist Party of China Central Committee's overall assessment and arrangement for the country's economic and social development. He called on entrepreneurs to shoulder responsibilities, practice the new development philosophy in their actions and pursue high-quality development while fostering new quality productive forces.
He also called on enterprises to enhance their governance by establishing modern corporate systems with Chinese characteristics, improve management capacity, fulfill their corporate social responsibilities, operate with integrity and in compliance with laws, and strive to build themselves into world-class enterprises.
The conference also unveiled a research and analysis report on the ranking.
