Bater, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met with representatives of the Asian Conference of Religions for Peace in Beijing on July 17.

He said that the CPPCC National Committee will, as always, support the active participation of the China Committee of Religion and Peace in the work of the Asian Conference of Religions for Peace, and promote exchanges between the Chinese religious community and religious communities of other countries on the basis of mutual respect, equality and friendship.
