A group of press officials from the Singaporean government visited the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in Beijing on July 15. The delegation held a symposium with some CPPCC National Committee members and officials of its affiliated departments. Hu Henglu, deputy secretary-general of the CPPCC National Committee, presided over the meeting and gave an overview about the organization.
