The Standing Committee of the 12th Central Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA) held its 11th plenary meeting in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning province, on July 3, focusing on improving work conduct and integrity within the organization.

Hao Mingjin, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and chairman of the CNDCA Central Committee, addressed the meeting. Qin Boyong, vice-chairwoman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and executive vice-chairwoman of the CNDCA Central Committee, presided over the meeting.

Hao emphasized the need for the continued implementation of the Communist Party of China Central Committee's instructions on Party building, the eight-point code and its supporting regulations and for improving the work conduct and integrity within the CNDCA.

CNDCA members should avail of the Party education campaign to ensure high-quality learning, in-depth problem identification and effective rectification, Hao said. He also stressed the importance of fully assuming the political responsibility of strict self-governance to support the broader development of the organization, contributing ideas and efforts toward achieving the goals of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) and formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30).

At the meeting, CNDCA provincial-level organizations from Liaoning, Shandong, Hubei, Yunnan and Qinghai shared their experiences in carrying out the discipline education campaign. The meeting also deliberated and adopted a regulation on internal governance of the CNDCA and personnel-related matters.
