Visiting Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Gao Yunlong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, spoke at the closing ceremony of the Brazil-China Business Seminar in Beijing on May 12.

Lula said Brazil is willing to actively facilitate the alignment of the development strategies of the two countries to achieve more mutually beneficial results and further create a model of unity and cooperation among countries in the Global South.

Gao said China is ready to work with all sectors in Brazil to jointly implement the key consensus reached between presidents of the two countries, advance cooperation in various fields to better benefit the people in both countries, and strive to build a China-Brazil community with a shared future for a more just world and a more sustainable planet, and inject more positive energy into world peace and development.
