The Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) convened a meeting on March 27 in Nayong county, Bijie city in Southwest China's Guizhou province, to review the pairing assistance efforts in 2024 for Nayong and outline assistance tasks for this year.
Zheng Jianbang, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, addressed the meeting.
Zheng acknowledged the RCCK's efforts in assisting Nayong's development in 2024, which included hosting the first specialized talent training program for all counties receiving pairing assistance from the united front, and assembling RCCK artistic talents for the first time to take part in local rural vitalization work through cultural empowerment. As a result, Nayong county passed the national performance evaluation for rural vitalization, laying a solid foundation for future progress, he added.
Zheng emphasized that the RCCK's pairing assistance framework has evolved into a coordinated and structured model, featuring clear priorities, sectoral coordination and aligned advancement. He called for a deeper understanding of the strategic role of pairing assistance in rural vitalization, its significance for Nayong's development, and its function as a platform for strengthening the RCCK's organizational capacity.
Zheng urged enhanced coordination between the RCCK, Nayong county, and relevant institutions to maximize the effectiveness of existing mechanisms. He also stressed the importance of aligning annual plans with long-term objectives, integrating RCCK Central Committee and provincial-level assistance efforts, consolidating past achievements while exploring new initiatives, and advancing work steadily and systematically throughout the year.
