The Standing Committee of the 16th Central Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party held its 10th plenary meeting in Beijing recently. Jiang Zuojun, chairman of the China Zhi Gong Party Central Committee, addressed the gathering. 

Jiang emphasized that studying and implementing the guiding principles of the latest sessions of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee is a political priority. He stressed the need to integrate these principles into the party's participation in administration of State affairs, ensuring their full implementation. He also called for reinforcing theoretical and political education, guiding members to remain committed to multiparty cooperation, and deepening their political, ideological, theoretical, and emotional recognition of the Communist Party of China and socialism with Chinese characteristics. 

The China Zhi Gong Party must fulfill its role in supporting the further comprehensive deepening of reforms and advancing Chinese modernization, he said, urging efforts to effectively conduct democratic oversight tasks, and launch the "Enhancing International Exchanges for Better Performance" initiative. He also called for further leveraging the party's strengths in rural vitalization efforts, continuously strengthening organizational development, and reinforcing supervision over public service staff. 

Jiang outlined expectations for this year's conduct improvement initiative, which focuses on performance, action and results. He highlighted its significance, urging a clear understanding of its core principles and a strong sense of responsibility in its implementation. 

He called for integrating the initiative with the party's overall work to ensure coordinated progress and tangible outcomes, as a way to celebrate the upcoming 100th anniversary of the party's founding.
