The Standing Committee of the 14th Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) held its 10th meeting in Beijing on March 10. 

Zheng Jianbang, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) and chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, addressed the meeting. He Baoxiang, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and executive vice-chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, presided over the meeting. 

Zheng pointed out that 2025 is the final year of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) and a crucial year for comprehensively deepening reforms. He urged RCCK members to study and implement the guiding principles of  the latest sessions of the NPC and the CPPCC National Committee, uphold the correct political orientation, enhance their performance capabilities, and contribute to building a great country and rejuvenating the nation through Chinese modernization. 

He pointed out that the third plenary session of the 14th RCCK Central Committee designated 2025 as the Year of Capacity Building for Fulfilling Duties. He called on RCCK members to improve the scientific, targeted, and effective nature of the RCCK's work, and foster balanced progress across the five key competencies required of a political party participating in the administration of State affairs. 

Zheng also stressed the need to consolidate and expand the achievements of the education campaign initiated by the Communist Party of China Central Committee, explore digital development, conduct pragmatic surveys, and further promote paired assistance and expand the regions and fields for paired assistance. Additionally, efforts should be made to organize the "Huacan" series of events with high quality, and carry out surveys concerning cross-Strait affairs as part of the deliberation and administration of State affairs, Zheng noted.
