On Feb 19, on behalf of the Chinese government, Bater, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, went to the Namibian Embassy in China to offer condolences on the passing of Namibia's founding President Sam Nujoma, and wrote a message of condolence in the condolence book.
