Shen Yueyue, vice-chairwoman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met with a delegation headed by Modeste Bahati Lukwebo, president of the Allied Democratic Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo and second vice-president of the country's Senate, in Beijing on Dec 18.

Shen gave the guests an introduction to the guiding principles of the third plenum of the 20th Communist Party of China Central Committee, and discussed developing bilateral relations between the two countries and two parties, as well as implementing the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
