The third plenary session of the 16th Central Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party opened in Beijing on Dec 4.

The meeting reviewed the work reports of the Standing Committee and the Internal Supervision Committee of the 16th China Zhi Gong Party Central Committee.

Jiang Zuojun, chairman of the China Zhi Gong Party Central Committee, delivered the 2024 work report on behalf of the standing committee.

Jiang said that, in 2024, the China Zhi Gong Party continued to implement its five-year plan for self-development, and upheld its fine traditions and lofty mission of dedication to the public good and serving the nation through contributions from overseas Chinese. The party made achievements in participating in State governance and contributed to further deepening reform comprehensively to advance Chinese modernization, according to Jiang.

Jiang called on all party members to pool the wisdom and strengths of Chinese people at home and abroad to achieve new progress in all aspects of work, so as to embrace the centennial anniversary of the founding of the party with high-quality performance of functions, and make new contributions to building China into a strong country and achieving national rejuvenation.
