Bater, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and head of the China-Cuba Friendship Association, met with President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) Fernando González in Beijing on Oct 28.

The two sides discussed implementing the major consensus reached between the two heads of state, continuously deepening the China-Cuba special friendship in the new era and enhancing friendship between the two peoples.
