Wang Yong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led a team from the Committee on Economic Affairs of the CPPCC National Committee to survey financial support for green transformation and development in Northwest China's Shaanxi province from June 17 to 20. 

The team's survey included trips in the cities of Xi'an, Weinan, and Tongchuan, where they visited enterprise workshops, financial institutions, and research and development centers, and held symposiums to gain detailed information on Shaanxi's practices and explorations in green transformation and development. 

The team noted that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the CPC Central Committee has guided the entire nation in achieving a globally recognized miracle of sustainable development. In recent years, Shaanxi province has made significant strides in developing new quality productive forces and enhancing the level of green development, achieving solid progress in high-quality development. 

The team said that promoting green transformation and development is a strategic requirement and the only way to implement new development concepts and achieve high-quality development. They called for thorough understanding on the significance of the task, and the better tapping of the CPPCC's role to further survey and contribute to finance-driven green transformation and the comprehensive advancement of Chinese modernization.
