The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee conducted an inspection in South China's Guangdong province from May 26 to 30. Led by Wang Dongfeng, vice-chairman and secretary-general of the CPPCC National Committee, the inspection focused on promoting collaborative efforts among schools, families and communities in education. 

The team visited schools, enterprises and communities in the cities of Zhuhai, Dongguan, Huizhou and Shenzhen, gained first-hand experience of Guangdong's overall requirements and targets of collaborative education, and its efforts in establishing working mechanisms, scientific research, and practice innovation, which are forming a new environment of collaborative education among local schools, families and communities. 

At a symposium held during the inspection, the inspection team listened to introductions from relevant departments and exchanged ideas with representatives of schools, relevant social institutions, teachers and parents, and proposed advice and suggestions. 

The team underscored the need to earnestly implement the Party's educational policy and the fundamental task of fostering moral integrity, and to unceasingly promote the reform and innovation of school-family-community cooperation in education.

Efforts are needed for the establishment of a cooperation mechanism where all parties' responsibilities are clearly defined, in order to render strong support in overall planning, development management, sharing of resources, logistics guarantee, and talent cultivation.

The team also vowed to provide high-level advice and assistance based on in-depth investigation, scientific analysis, and democratic supervision, to help promote high-quality cooperation among schools, families, and communities, and achieve happy campuses, happy families, and a law-based society.
