Hu Chunhua, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led a team from the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Areas of the CPPCC National Committee to inspect the rural financial service system in East China's Jiangxi province from May 14 to 18.
The team visited industrial parks, agricultural bases, enterprises, and local communities in the cities of Pingxiang, Yichun, Xinyu, Fuzhou, and Yingtan. They learned about Jiangxi's efforts in enhancing inclusive financial services and innovating and optimizing financial products, with focus on agricultural industrial park development, seed industry revitalization, and rural specialty industries, which effectively supported the comprehensive vitalization of rural areas.
The team noted that it is important to understand the critical role of financial services in rural vitalization and to use financial tools to consolidate and expand the results of poverty alleviation. They called for optimizing financial service supply, enhancing the resilience of industrial and supply chains, improving high-quality agricultural insurance systems, and boosting the risk resistance capability of rural industries.
During the inspection, Hu visited a camellia oleifera industrial park in Yuanzhou district, Yichun, where he engaged in discussions with major camellia growers and local agricultural and financial officials, jointly exploring ways for the development of the camellia industry.
