Zheng Jianbang, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, has called for concrete actions to accelerate the construction of an efficient and unimpeded modern circulation system to unblock domestic circulation.
Zheng, also chairman of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), made the remarks while leading a team to survey the construction of a modern circulation system in the cities of Zhengzhou and Luoyang in Central China's Henan province from April 16 to 19.
Speaking at a symposium held in Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, Zheng emphasized the need to resolutely implement the decisions and plans made by the Communist Party of China Central Committee regarding the construction of a modern circulation system.
He highlighted the need to advance the reform of circulation management systems and optimize the business environment to promote the high-quality development of the modern circulation system.
Efforts are needed to improve circulation infrastructure, strengthen multimodal transportation, and advance innovation-driven development to comprehensively enhance the efficiency of modern circulation.
He called for the integrated development of the circulation industry with a balanced consideration of both domestic and international situations in a bid to enhance the industry and grow the enterprises therein, and carry out high-level opening-up measures to comprehensively improve the building of the new development paradigm.
