The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) conducted a survey in Beijing on April 2, concentrating on deepening the research and application of artificial intelligence as a way to cultivate and develop new quality productive forces. 

Led by Wang Yong, vice-chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, the survey team made on-site surveys of the operations and innovative achievements of the Beijing head office of iFLYTEK Co Ltd and the Beijing Research Institute of Huawei Technologies Co Ltd. 

The team called for persistence in adapting measures to local conditions and forming differentiated development patterns with various characteristics in developing new quality productive forces. It also underscored the broad opportunities for cooperation between State-owned and private enterprises in developing new quality productive forces, urging advances in the integrated innovation and coordinated development of enterprises of various ownerships and deep integration of the chains of innovation, industry, capital and talent to consolidate the industrial foundation and open new space for the development of new quality productive forces. 

The CPPCC will give full play to its role as a specialized consultative body, actively build platforms to help enterprises coordinate and solve problems, lead its members to focus their studies and suggestions on new technologies and new materials, and contribute wisdom and strength for the development of new quality productive forces.
