Zheng Jianbang, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, has called for consistent efforts to promote the fostering of a law-based business environment.

Zheng, who is also chairman of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), made the remarks at a symposium in Beijing on March 20 when he led a team to survey the business environment in the capital city.

Social governance and the rule of law are key areas of the RCCK Central Committee in participating in the deliberation and administration of State affairs. "Promoting the development of a law-based business environment to facilitate high-quality economic development" is one of the key topics of research that the committee plans to engage in for its annual work.

During the symposium, Zheng emphasized that promoting the construction of a law-based business environment is a systemic and long-term task that requires continuous improvement and sustained efforts.

Since 2019, the RCCK Central Committee has actively implemented the decisions and plans of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and has continuously conducted a series of research projects focusing on optimizing the business environment as well as making numerous suggestions. These efforts have received high attention from the leadership of the CPC Central Committee and active responses from relevant government departments.

This survey trip in Beijing focused on three key aspects: emphasizing systematic and holistic approaches to create an optimized business environment system; addressing the concerns of business entities and creating a business environment that better serves enterprises; and promoting the construction of a unified national market to support high-quality economic development.
