Jiang Xinzhi leads CPC delegation to visit South Africa

From March 20 to 24, Jiang Xinzhi, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led a delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) to visit South Africa, upon the invitation of the African National Congress (ANC).

During the visit, Jiang, also deputy head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, met respectively with Vice-President of South Africa and of the ANC Paul Mashatile, General Secretary of the ANC Fikile Mbalula, General Secretary of the Communist Party of South Africa Solly Afrika Mapaila, and Provincial Chairperson of the ANC in the Western Cape Vuyiso Tyhalisisu. He expounded on the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress during the meetings.

Both sides agreed to jointly implement the key consensus reached between the two countries' leaders, deepen exchanges of state governance experiences, and carry out close cooperation in various fields to build with high standard a China-South Africa community with a shared future.
