As many young people look to agriculture and return to their hometown for entrepreneurship, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) suggested more preferential policies to be adopted to pave the way for the new farmers.
Han Dan, a member of the CPPCC National Committee born in 1982, said to China Daily that more preferential policies should be introduced to reduce the threshold and risk of entrepreneurship.
