The Central Committee of the China Democratic League (CDL) plans to submit 46 proposals to the second session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

The proposals were selected from research reports and proposal materials submitted by the CDL Central Committee's special committees and the CDL provincial-level organizations.

The proposals involve multiple issues such as rural vitalization, economic development, social governance, people's livelihoods, scientific and technological innovation, and ecological protection. Sixteen of the proposals are related to the enhancement of education, sci-tech, and culture, showcasing the CDL's unique characteristics and professional advantages.

A number of the proposals were produced from the achievements of the CDL Central Committee's major surveys and studies made last year. The proposal on promoting the construction of a unified national market through the rule of law approach was based on the results of a major survey conducted last year. The proposal on fulfilling the role of young rural scholars in rural vitalization was initiated from findings of investigations conducted in Sichuan and Gansu provinces. The proposals showed that the CDL Central Committee has closely focused its efforts on conducting in-depth investigations and studies and has continuously promoted the efficiency and quality of its proposals to serve the country's overall development.
