Mu Hong, vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, met with a delegation led by Ivan Timofeev, director general of the Russian International Affairs Council, in Beijing on Jan 15. They exchanged views on implementing the important consensuses of the two heads of state and promoting the development of China-Russia relations.

Mu introduced to the Russian guests China's efforts to  comprehensively advance the Chinese modernization and the Chinese people's political consultative system.
