Shi Taifeng, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, met with representatives of the Thailand-China training course for elite leadership in the new era.

Noting that China and Thailand are good neighbors, friends, relatives and partners, Shi said that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the two countries are working together to build a China-Thailand community with a shared future that is more stable, prosperous and sustainable. He raised his hope that trainees of the course would continue to devote themselves to the cause of the China-Thailand friendship, promote high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and cultural exchanges, and contribute to the prosperity and development of the two countries.

Trainees spoke highly of China's achievements in the new era, and pledged to tap their advantages to promote bilateral exchanges and cooperation.
