On Nov 16, Hu Chunhua, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met with Takeshi Noda, president of the Japan-China Society and former internal affairs minister of Japan in Beijing.

The two sides exchanged views on a range of topics including China-Japan relations, economic and trade cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges.
