On Nov 9, Bater, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met with foreign representatives attending the second international seminar on interfaith exchanges and shared future for humanity in Beijing.

He expressed his hope that religious circles at home and abroad will continue to unite and cooperate, promote exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, and promote world peace and development, in a bid to turn the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind into reality.
