The 2023 China (Guangxi) Non-public Economy Development Forum was held in Nanning, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Nov 3.
Hao Mingjin, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and Qin Boyong, vice-chairwoman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended and addressed the event.
Hao, also chairman of the Central Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA), called on private entrepreneurs to effectively implement the new development philosophy, shoulder greater responsibilities and play a greater role in the historical process of building a modern socialist country and promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
He noted that the forum has played an important role in helping the CNDCA fulfill its functions as a participating political party in promoting the healthy development of the non-public economy and entrepreneurs over the past 20 years. The CNDCA will take advantage of its close ties with economic circles to continue its support for the healthy development of the country's non-public economy and the people in the private sector, he added.
Qin, also executive vice-chairwoman of the CNDCA Central Committee, encouraged Guangxi to leverage its multiple development advantages and make coordinated efforts to expand opening-up and create a sound environment for the region’s development.
