The Chairman Summit of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) was held in Zhengzhou, capital of Central China's Henan province, on July 26. 

The conference focused on how to help promote the high-quality growth of Henan through the support of excellent private enterprises. 

Gao Yunlong, vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee and chairman of the ACFIC, said that private enterprises should strengthen their confidence and fully understand the clear-cut position of the Communist Party of China Central Committee on supporting the development of the private economy.

Gao urged private enterprises to learn about the new development philosophy, uphold the "quality first" principle, prioritize efficiency, and switch from the resource-driven to the innovation-driven growth model. He encouraged private enterprises to bravely explore paths for continuous and sustainable development of the private economy, and to demonstrate their unique role in promoting Chinese modernization.
