A team organized by the Committee on Proposals of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee conducted a survey on the optimization of the development environment for private enterprises in East China's Jiangsu province from June 12 to 16.
The team visited private enterprises engaged in new energy vehicle production, high-end manufacturing, digital intelligence, creative textiles, and engineering construction and made field trips to administrative approval centers in the province's Nantong, Changzhou, Wuxi and Suzhou cities.
The team members exchanged ideas with entrepreneurs, frontline employees, experts and grassroots representatives and learned about their concerns. Seminars were held with local governments and entrepreneurs to exchange opinions and suggestions on upgrading the development environment for private enterprises, the topic of a key proposal of the CPPCC National Committee.
Shi Taifeng, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice-chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, participated in the survey and delivered a speech at a seminar held in Suzhou.
The team affirmed the achievements made by Jiangsu in improving the development environment of private enterprises since the 18th CPC National Congress. It stressed that the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress on promoting the healthy and quality development of private enterprises should be fully implemented.
It also called for a clearly oriented environment in which public opinions could inspire and rally entrepreneurs, and efforts to establish a precise and effective policy system and foster a market environment for fair competition and a cordial and clean relationship between the government and the business sectors.
