The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee recently conducted a survey in Beijing and East China's Jiangsu province, with the theme of promoting the construction of an omni-media communication system.
The research team said that as the internet has become the main channel for mass communication, it is necessary to strengthen the construction of an omni-media communication system and to improve the comprehensive governance of the network.
The researchers affirmed local achievements in building an omni-media system and said that they will put forward suggestions to help solve problems encountered in reforming the institutional mechanism and talent team development, to promote the implementation of central government policies and enhance the influence of Chinese civilization.
The researchers highlighted efforts to scientifically and effectively coordinate the establishment of an omni-media communication system, standardize communication order, apply market rules to ensure the media industry better serves China’s cultural undertakings and national governance, and create more quality products for international communication.
